Wander & Elopement Awareness and Monitoring
BuzNet RTLS is a next-generation wander management solution for residential care homes. Precise locations of residents at risk of elopement and excessive wandering are monitored at all times, and a Blue/Yellow/Red system provides a simple situational overview. Blue/Yellow/Red status lights are shown for the entire network as well as for individual tags.
- Blue: Tag is within the facility in a safe, authorized zone
- Yellow: Tag is at risk of leaving a safe zone (i.e. near doors, in stairwells, etc.)
- Red: Tag has left the facility or is in a restricted zone
BuzNet RTLS is not a typical wander management solution that puts doors into lock-down when bracelets and tags are within their proximity. Instead, BuzNet RTLS is a more flexible system that monitors tags everywhere. When tags are at risk of leaving a safe area, BuzNet RTLS will aid in the actual prevention of unattended elopement without putting a home into lock-down.
